Cawsand, Torpoint - One of the secret gems of Cornwall. 
This is a place that I would visit every summer with my family and my memories of it are held dearly in my heart. I painted this work along with 2 others in the summer of 2020 on a short visit. I hadn't been to Cawsand for years until 2020, long before my watercolour career. This clocktower withstands countless lashings from the stormy ocean year after year. The foundation stone of the present Institute was laid on 22nd June 1911 which was the same day that the Queen’s grandfather, King George 5th, was crowned king.
